Benefits of Somatic breathwork

Somatic breathwork is a personal growth experience and every session is different. It works with the nervous system, which acts as a bridge that connects the mind, body, and environment. The nervous system constantly scans your environment for relational signs that convey security and safety. The nervous system either feels safe, or it does not feel safe. When the nervous system has not been able to digest, express energy, or has had trauma it can create unresolved emotions and stress that can lead to chronic issues, repression, depression, dulling of senses, numbness, and symptoms of disease.


 Somatic breathwork is designed to create space in the nervous system and create safety within the nervous system. Somatic breathwork helps to express energy, complete cycles that were not able to be brought to completion, and repattern the nervous system for a more functional way of being. Healing happens when one can reconnect to the intelligence of the body, reconnect all parts of themselves, and reconnect the mind back to the intelligence of the body.
